With a heavy brow, piercing blue eyes, and an overflow of personality, Bambi Northwood-Blyth has a beauty that’s all her own. The Aussie model first made waves in her hometown of Melbourne, where she was tabloid fodder, dating Ksubi founder Dan Single. After establishing herself in her home country, she flew Stateside and signed with Elite Models New York. The 20-year-old debuted at the spring 2011 Jen Kao show; also walking for rag & bone and Diesel, she closed for the latter. In London, Little Miss Bambi received Love magazine’s Katie Grand stamp of approval: Northwood-Blyth was booked for Giles, Topshop Unique, Loewe, and Emanuel Ungaro, all styled by Grand. Closing out her time in Paris, Bambi walked for Chanel and Balenciaga. At those last two shows Bambi displayed her surprisingly versatile look, while retaining her distinct sensibility — a mark of a top model in the making.
